This luxury hotel loves curating unforgettable experiences and events that you will never want to forget! As an Arizona wedding photographer, I love working with clients to help them find the venue that best suits them. Here is what you can expect when you book The Scott Resort wedding venue!
4925 North Scottsdale Road, Scottsdale, Arizona 85251
The Scott Resort is the kind of wedding venue where you can leave all your troubles at the door. Nestled in Old Town Scottsdale, this resort is dedicated to creating an international experience, no passport required! First opened in 2017, this resort borrows from Havana and the broader Caribbean, offering expertly prepared food, breathtaking backdrops, and one of the best spas in the entire Southwest. Throughout your stay, you can check out experiences like poolside DJs, classic movie nights, and cocktail tastings. While the setting might be divine, it’s their events team that has made them a local favorite. With professionals dedicated to taking care of every last detail, this venue is going to ensure you have a day you will hold dear for the rest of your life!

When you book your wedding at The Scott Resort, your package is going to include a two-night stay on the grounds. They have both rooms and suites with ample space for getting ready. You are going to love sipping champagne with your wedding party before taking some pictures outside on your own private balcony! The neutral colors and large windows throughout these spaces are also ideal for indoor pics.

This resort has a variety of venues you can use throughout your wedding. One of the most popular options for your ceremony will be the Laguna Lawn. This area is full of old-world romance with brick ruins built at the front to serve as your altar. You can place your flowers in the windows to tie in your wedding colors. This area is surrounded by tropical trees and lush hedges, while the turf grass stays bright and verdant regardless of the weather! There is also a nearby water feature that will provide the right amount of ambiance.

If you want something more modern and chic, you can tie the knot in front of the pool, getting the gleaming blue waters as your backdrop. The footbridge in this space is ideal for a dramatic entrance!
Those who would prefer something a bit more intimate can use the Sunset Patio. With an antique fountain and desert plants, this is the best place to find southwest charm!

Once it’s time for your cocktail hour, your guests can check out The Canal Club Bar. This spot is airy and glamorous with jade tile, rattan furniture, bronze lights, and vivid wallpaper. The layout was created to let your guests order drinks and move outside so they can enjoy their cocktails poolside!
Now, it’s time to find the spot where you can dance the night away. They give you tons of options for this as well! If you love the Laguna Lawn as much as I think you will, you can turn the space into an outdoor reception. You can have the time of your life sharing a meal before celebrating underneath the stars! If you would prefer something indoors, the venue has the Heritage Ballroom. This venue is grand and spacious, with enough room for up to 350 guests. The white walls give way to light blue carpet, while pink accents add the perfect contrast! There is also the Orangedale Ballroom that keeps this same color scheme while adding in floor-to-ceiling windows for natural lighting. This area can host up to 250 guests.

As I mentioned earlier, this is a newer resort that is less than a decade old. That means The Scott Resort has been built with modern designs created for wedding portraits! As you get ready in your suite, you can take advantage of the large windows, the neutral color palettes, and the cozy velvet furniture. It will give you a fantastic backdrop for both candid and posed pics.

The gardens are ideal for your first look portraits. The hedge-lined paths feel lush and romantic, giving you an iconic spot to share this private moment together. From there, you can explore the rest of the grounds, sharing a kiss by the pool or sipping some cocktails at the picture-perfect Canal Club Bar.

Once it’s time for your group portraits, I recommend the structure at the front of the Laguna Lawn. The exposed brick, combined with the natural lighting, is positively breathtaking!
This team knows how to give you your perfect wedding day. They have several packages that will include the necessities plus perks! You can stay on the grounds throughout your wedding weekend and reserve additional rooms for your guests and your wedding party. They will provide you with padded garden chairs, tables, valet parking, a customized wedding cake, and a complimentary champagne toast. You can also opt for things like a couple’s massage and a breakfast for two. They have a wedding specialist who will be there throughout the entire planning process to make sure everything matches your vision. Additionally, their expert culinary team is going to take care of all the food and drinks.

If you are ready to turn your wedding weekend into a total escape, The Scott Resort wedding venue is the place for you! This stylish luxury hotel combines gorgeous backdrops with top-of-the-line amenities for a day you will never forget!
