Hey there!

There’s a reason so many couples choose Cabo San Lucas to say “I do.” After photographing weddings throughout Mexico for years, I can confidently say it’s one of the most unforgettable places to celebrate. From oceanfront ceremonies to lively receptions beneath the stars, every wedding feels like an experience—not just a single day.
As a bilingual Cabo San Lucas wedding photographer, I help make the planning process feel effortless. Being able to communicate seamlessly with local planners, venues, and vendors means fewer language barriers, smoother logistics, and more time for you to enjoy the experience. Whether you’re planning an intimate elopement or a multi-day destination celebration, my goal is to make the journey as enjoyable as the wedding itself.
One of the biggest surprises for many couples is that I don’t charge travel fees. My collections are all-inclusive, so you won’t encounter unexpected costs or hidden travel expenses while planning your photography investment. For couples looking for even more support, I also partner with trusted local wedding planners who can help bring your vision to life while keeping the process organized and stress-free.
As your Cabo San Lucas wedding photographer, here’s what you can expect when you work together with NorAnna Photo.
Whether your wedding will be traditional, an elopement, or an all out destination wedding experience, you want to have a vendor at your side that you can fully trust, and carry your vision out to the end.

The best part of the planning process is know that you can have it ALL for your styled vision. Are you looking for a luxury resort celebration? You would be elated to hear that Cabo provides some of the most exclusive resort brands like the Ritz Carlton’s Zadun or Waldorf Astorias’ Los Cabos Pedregal.
Perhaps ultimate luxury isn’t what you’re envisioning, but rather a more private and intimate union. Whether it’s a private Villa wedding like the Acre Resort offers or a private beach wedding crafted by Kimpton’s Mas Olas, you know you won’t have to cut corners or make concessions to bring your visions to life.
Worried about getting your guests on board with a destination wedding? The people who truly want to celebrate with you will make the trip—and Cabo makes saying “yes” easy. Guests can fill their days with everything from sailing, tequila tastings, and spa days to simply relaxing on the beach before ending the evening with incredible dining, music, and nightlife. It feels less like attending a wedding and more like sharing an unforgettable vacation together.

Who you choose as your Cabo wedding photographer is paramount to not only your vision, but your overall experience. While these venues and planners do offer talented local photographers they partner with for profit, you want to be able to get to know your photographer. Often when booking these destination weddings, your planners will take control and you don’t know who or what you’re investing in.
Let me change that narrative. I approach your day with one thing in mind. You. This is your day, your vision, your investment, and your love. I protect that passionately, and produce work that will blow you away. Getting a good read on how involved you want to be and where I can step in to help is crucial to understand each of our working styles. I have clients who are Type ‘A’ and want to be in full control, to clients who give full creativity and reign to their vendors which is just as amazing. At the end of the day, I want you to have fun and enjoy the wedding you have been waiting to bring to life.
There are countless photographers who create beautiful images, but choosing the right one is about so much more than the photographs themselves. When you’re planning a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, you deserve someone who not only documents your celebration beautifully, but also helps you feel confident, relaxed, and fully present from the moment you inquire until your final gallery is delivered.
Planning a destination wedding comes with plenty of moving parts, which is why having a bilingual wedding photographer can make the experience feel that much more seamless. Being fluent in both English and Spanish allows me to communicate easily with local planners, venues, florists, transportation teams, and other vendors, helping everything flow smoothly behind the scenes. Whether it’s answering a quick question, coordinating portrait locations, or navigating unexpected changes on the wedding day, clear communication helps keep everyone on the same page. It also creates a more comfortable experience for couples and their international guests, ensuring everyone feels included and understood throughout the celebration. My goal is to make your wedding day feel effortless, so you can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time enjoying every moment in beautiful Cabo San Lucas.
The word ‘destination’ comes with a visual pop up in everyone’s mind of travel costs. Feel free to pop that bubble and toss it out because all travel fees for myself and 2nd shooter are on me. No hidden costs or surprises, just an exceptional and honest experience.

Cabo San Lucas has a way of making every wedding feel effortlessly beautiful. The deep blue waters of the Sea of Cortez, dramatic desert landscapes, golden beaches, and warm evening light create an atmosphere that’s both refined and relaxed. My approach to wedding photography is centered around preserving that feeling exactly as it was—without heavy filters, forced poses, or trends that won’t stand the test of time. The result is a collection of images that feel vibrant, genuine, and unmistakably like your wedding day in Cabo.
One of the reasons couples choose to get married in Cabo is because of its incredible natural beauty, and I believe your photographs should reflect it honestly. From the rich turquoise waters and colorful sunsets to the warm glow of candlelit receptions overlooking the ocean, every color deserves to look as beautiful years from now as it did in the moment. My editing style stays true to natural skin tones, preserves the warmth of Cabo’s iconic light, and creates timeless imagery that will never feel dated. Whether you’re exchanging vows barefoot on the beach or celebrating beneath the palms at a luxury resort, your gallery will feel vibrant, refined, and true to life.
Your wedding day deserves more than beautiful portraits—it deserves to be remembered for how it felt. While I’ll create elegant, editorial-inspired portraits that belong in a magazine, I’m equally focused on the unscripted moments that happen in between. The quiet excitement before you walk down the aisle, the laughter shared over cocktails with your closest friends, the wind catching your veil along the shoreline, and the celebration that unfolds long after sunset all become part of the story. It’s a balance of intentional artistry and genuine moments, allowing every meaningful interaction and carefully chosen detail to come together naturally.
Most couples tell me they aren’t used to being in front of a camera, and that’s exactly why my approach is built around making you feel comfortable rather than perfectly posed. I’ll gently guide you whenever you need direction while leaving plenty of space for authentic interactions to unfold on their own. Instead of rigid poses, I focus on natural movement, conversation, and creating an experience where you can simply enjoy being together. The result is imagery that feels effortless, relaxed, and unmistakably you—set against one of the most breathtaking wedding destinations in the world.

Some of you come here and think: which one, which one? Allow me to guide you through each. Full destination weddings tend to include multi-day celebrations like welcome parties, rehearsals, day of wedding, to after parties. These are centered around couples who have large family and friend groups that are absolutely electrical and the best type of organized chaotic there is. Full day Cabo destinations weddings are production worthy and remembered for years to come from everyone involved.
Does reading the above stress you out or feel like ‘too much’? That’s fine! Full on destination weddings aren’t meant for every couple. You can still experience all of the love and fun while keeping things intimate. Imagine: Sunset ceremony on a private beach or a cliffside elopement with breathtaking Sea of Cortez views. These are romantic celebrations focused entirely on the couple, and them joining as two.
Here are some elements to consider when deciding which one is right for you:

One of the biggest reasons couples choose Cabo San Lucas for their destination wedding is the incredible variety of venues. Whether you’re envisioning a five-star oceanfront celebration with every luxury imaginable, an intimate boutique resort surrounded by desert landscapes, or a secluded villa overlooking the Sea of Cortez, Cabo offers a setting for every style of wedding. As a Cabo San Lucas wedding photographer, each venue offers its own personality, lighting, and scenery, creating photographs that feel completely unique to your celebration.
If you’re dreaming of an elevated destination wedding where every detail is thoughtfully curated, Cabo is home to some of the world’s most celebrated luxury resorts.
Some venues have become synonymous with destination weddings in Cabo because they offer something truly unforgettable.
Baja Luna Los Cabos blends modern architecture with authentic Baja charm, offering couples a private, design-forward setting that feels both sophisticated and intimate. The open-air spaces and natural surroundings make every celebration feel effortlessly connected to the landscape.
Waldorf Astoria Pedregal’s dramatic cliffside ceremony spaces and Montage’s pristine Santa Maria Bay have become iconic backdrops for luxury weddings, while Las Ventanas al Paraíso continues to be one of Cabo’s most recognizable names for timeless elegance and impeccable hospitality. Together, these venues showcase the incredible diversity Cabo offers—from dramatic coastal cliffs to tranquil beachfront settings and refined resort luxury.
Not every couple dreams of a grand ballroom reception. Some simply want to exchange vows surrounded by Baja’s breathtaking landscapes with only their closest loved ones—or perhaps just the two of them.
Beyond these boutique resorts, Baja California Sur is filled with secluded beaches, dramatic desert overlooks, private oceanfront villas, and charming boutique accommodations that create unforgettable settings for intimate weddings and adventurous elopements. Whether your vision includes saying your vows barefoot on a quiet beach at sunrise or celebrating beneath the stars surrounded by towering palms, there’s no shortage of remarkable places to begin your next chapter together.

Planning a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas is easier than you might think. With world-class resorts, experienced local vendors, and direct flights from many major U.S. and Canadian cities, Cabo offers a seamless experience from start to finish. A little planning goes a long way. Making your celebration feel effortless from the moment you arrive to your last dance beneath the stars.
One of Cabo’s biggest draws is its beautiful weather nearly year-round. The most popular wedding season runs from November through May, when temperatures are warm, humidity is low, and rainfall is rare. These months offer sunny skies, comfortable evenings, and some of the clearest ocean views, making them ideal for outdoor ceremonies and receptions.
Summer weddings can also be beautiful, especially for couples looking for quieter resorts and greater availability, but it’s worth keeping hurricane season (roughly June through October) in mind. While Cabo isn’t directly affected every year, tropical storms can occasionally bring rain or stronger winds, making wedding insurance and a weather backup plan worthwhile.
Another detail many couples overlook is sunset timing. During the winter months, golden hour arrives earlier in the evening, while spring and early summer provide longer daylight hours for portraits before the celebration begins. Working with a photographer who understands Cabo’s changing light ensures your ceremony timeline is planned around the most flattering natural light for your photographs.
One of the first decisions you’ll make is whether to have a legal or symbolic ceremony in Mexico. While legal marriages are absolutely possible, they require additional paperwork, government processing, blood tests, and documentation that can add unnecessary stress to destination wedding planning.
For that reason, many international couples choose to legally marry at home before traveling to Cabo, then enjoy a symbolic ceremony overlooking the Sea of Cortez with their family and friends. Your wedding day looks and feels exactly the same, but without worrying about international legal requirements or administrative timelines.
If you do decide to complete the legal marriage in Mexico, be sure to work closely with your wedding planner or resort coordinator. They’ll help guide you through the required documents, translations, identification, and scheduling needed before your ceremony.
Cabo is one of Mexico’s most accessible destination wedding locations thanks to Los Cabos International Airport (SJD), which offers nonstop flights from dozens of cities throughout the United States and Canada. Most luxury resorts provide private airport transportation, making arrivals simple for both you and your guests.
When choosing accommodations, consider reserving a room block at your wedding resort or nearby hotels to keep everyone together throughout the celebration. Many Cabo resorts also offer welcome dinners, farewell brunches, spa experiences, golf, sailing excursions, and countless opportunities to turn your wedding into a memorable vacation for everyone attending.
While the Mexican Peso is the official currency, U.S. dollars are widely accepted throughout Cabo, particularly at resorts, restaurants, and tourist areas. It’s still helpful to carry a small amount of pesos for local shops, transportation, or gratuities.
Cabo is also considered one of Mexico’s safest tourist destinations, particularly within the resort corridor and downtown Cabo San Lucas. As with any international destination, it’s always wise to use reputable transportation, stay aware of your surroundings, and follow local recommendations.
Finally, embracing a few local customs goes a long way. Learning a few simple Spanish phrases, tipping staff appropriately, and allowing yourself to settle into Baja’s slower, more relaxed pace will make your entire destination wedding experience even more enjoyable. One of the best parts about getting married in Cabo isn’t just the stunning scenery—it’s the feeling that, for a few unforgettable days, time slows down and every moment can simply be enjoyed.
